Our safety policies and procedures meet or exceed the standards set forth by the PRCA (Professional Ropes Course Association).
We utilize state of the art equipment designed specifically for zip lining, require each of our professional guides to undergo extensive guide safety training, and operate each tour in the safest possible environment.

Every cable and bridge is inspected each day before any tours go out.
Extensive course inspections are required and completed weekly and monthly by Buffalo Mountain Ziplines.
An annual course inspection is completed by Universal Zipline Technology.
All pieces of equipment are inspected and recorded after each use to ensure that our visitors' safety is not compromised.
Two zip line guides accompany each group of up to 12 persons.
All participants, including guides, wear safety equipment provided by Buffalo Mountain Ziplines. Absolutely, no personal equipment is allowed on the courses.
Visitors are connected to the cables with safety lines at all times while on the zip line course, including skybridges and platforms.
Each visitor is connected to the cables at a minimum of two points while riding the zip lines, with safety lines, carabiners and pulleys.
Safe riding and braking instruction is provided before the tour begins.
Visitors are required to strictly adhere to all zip lining rules and their guides to ensure safe zip lining.
All tours will begin with our 'Bunny Hop' cable before moving onto the rest of the adventure.
All minors ages 3-15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Maximum weight is 275 lbs. No minimum
This adventure is designed for persons in good physical condition.
Pregnant women, guests with existing injuries and/or seizure disorders are prohibited. Guests with current or re-occurring medical conditions that may interfere with the participant's safety should not take this tour.
Completion of a waiver/release form is required.
Relatives other than the actual parents or legal guardians cannot sign the waiver for a minor by law.
Participants must be able to understand and follow instructions in English.
Secure shoes are required. NO FLIP FLOPS!!
Cameras are allowed providing that they are secured to the participant.
Cameras can only be used from the platforms.
We have a 72 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel outside of 72 hours from your tour time, you will be refunded or receive a voucher for the amount you paid. A $10 handling fee per person will be deducted for refunds. If you cancel within 72 hours of your tour time there are no refunds or vouchers. Late arrivals will not be refunded or issued vouchers and will not be able to join the group. Those not meeting the weight requirements will not be refunded or receive a voucher. Space is limited and guests are being turned away for your tour, as well expenses have already been incurred in preparation for your tour.
